~ Hot Stone TherapyThe application of heat to the body to produce therapeutic effects can be traced to ancient times. The combination of the heat from the stones, the customized essential oils, and the soothing massage action of stones produces a deep and penetrating state of relaxation and wellbeing. This effect is due to the fact that, 'heat is healing' and when you have a hot stone therapy treatment the emanating heat from the stones is gently, yet continually penetrating into your muscle fibers and literally melting away layers of tension.

As tension is the root cause of illness, when tension is alleviated, the body quickly returns to its natural state of wellbeing, promoting a sense of inner peace in the recipient.Keeping this in mind, it should come as no surprise why more and more people are turning to the healing power of hot stones to relieve the stresses of their modern day lifestyles.

~ Therapeutic Facial MassageTreatments My customized warm facial treatments include a scalp massage, neck and shoulder massage, hand massage, exfoliation, cleansing and moisturization. Leaves your skin smooth and balanced.

~ Thai Sa-Wan / Herbal BodyTreatments~The Sa-Wan ExperienceThis herbal ball treatment is traditionally a hot treatment. The Sa-Wan Ball is soaked, and then steamed before use. It is pressed along the Sen Sib lines, or acupressure zones of the body in a series of motions that include: a pressing with steady downward pressure: a "rock 'n roll," or back and forth motion: a "rolling" or orbital circular motion: and a " dragging" motion which is used to increase blood flow and lymphatic drainage. The Sa-Wan ball is used in combination with traditional massage or as a tool to work on specific parts of the body that need special attention for muscular tightness or pain. Some of the herbs in the Sa-Wan ball include Lemongrass, Tumeric, Kaffier Lime, Camphor, and Tamarind. I offer different herbal combinations dependant upon your need.

~ Sea EscapeThis body treatment, made with Sea Kelp and Natural Sea Botanicals reduces water weight of the body, detoxifies, tones and tightens the skin. The benefits are obtained from this treatment’s level of vitamins, minerals, protein, iodine and trace elements.The first step of this treatment is a Citrus Body Polish featuring gentle apricot seed powder to exfoliate, safflower seed oil to moisturize and a botanical blend of lavender, geranium, chamomile and soapwort to nourish the skin. This cream is pleasantly fragranced with natural lemon, orange, and lime. Your skin will be silky smooth and hydrated. Sea Escape Gel is then applied. This gel has sea kelp for metabolic stimulation and nutrient rich Klamath blue-green algae to hydrate and detoxify. The active moisturizer base includes willow bark extract, aloe vera oil, Vitamin E, rosehip seed oil, lavender, and a touch of fragrance to lift the spirits.You then rest for 30 min. as you are kept warm and comfortable. ~ Body Contour Wrap The M’LIS Body Contour Wrap is an all-natural holistic approach to body contouring that has been helping people lose cellulite and inches since 1979.
